Piano Lessons

Our piano lessons are fun and enjoyable, while we sharpen fine motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination and strengthen the bridge between the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Memory, concentration, and problem-solving are a few more of the benefits we gain as pianists. You can learn just for fun and develop your technique and repertoire, or you can work towards exams. We offer our students practical digital exams with the Trinity College of London.

Violin lessons

Whether the violin will be your first or second instrument, you will have the opportunity to learn with an experienced teacher and active performer, who will guide and support your musical journey. You can learn just for fun and develop your technique, or you can work towards exams.

Classical Guitar lessons

Would you like to learn to play the guitar? Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build on existing skills, you'll explore the joy of playing in a supportive and inspiring environment. With guidance from our experienced teacher and active performer, you'll develop confidence, technique, and musical expression at your own pace.

We offer flexible learning formats to suit your preferences:

Individual lessons for focused, one-to-one guidance
Shared lessons with a friend (2 students) for a more social experience
Group sessions (up to 8 students) for a fun and collaborative atmosphere

Rusty Strings

(adults group)

This group offers a fun and rewarding experience for adult string players. We also welcome beginners. (You'll learn whilst joining the group, picking up the basics on the way).

We'll learn to play pieces together, from a variety of different genres - classical, folk, blues, pop etc

Very informal - no experience necessary. (We may be able to provide instruments for hire or purchase).

Djembe drumming

(adults group)

Experience the energy and joy of West African drumming with our Djembe drumming class at Armonia! Open to all levels, these sessions are a fun and dynamic way to explore rhythm, coordination, and group music-making. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, you'll be guided by our experienced percussion teacher in a welcoming and inclusive environment. You can bring your own djembe drum or borrow one from us.

Music Theory Lessons

Music theory is very important as it allows us to understand the "why" and "how" in a music sheet. While we enrich our knowledge, our performance improves and so does our communication with other musicians. The Music Theory Qualifications are open to all music students, even if they do not attend Armonia for their regular practical lessons. Once a week we offer a dedicated music theory study hour.

Armonia Music and Arts is a Digital Exam Centre and a validated centre for Awards and Certificates in Musical Development, for Trinity College of London.

Are you a school?

We can offer violin lessons to your students during school time, or arrange for a fun and highly educational workshop around a specific theme you are working on. Our tutors are fully qualified and experienced in working in schools. They are passionate about their work!
